PERSONALITY: Though Jace doesn’t like to admit it she is very much a pessimist, she’s always expecting the worst out of every situation or even every person. Though at times she does find herself surprised at the way other people will treat her or if they do what she expects them to do. Though both her parents were well known in the Cape community she doesn’t really want anything to do with that side of their lives. She likes superheroes sure but she can never actually imagine her becoming a part of that life. Jacey is very attached to her father, she’s a total daddy’s girl and pretty much puts Ted on a pedestal. She doesn’t have the same feelings towards her mother though, in fact if anything Jacey doesn’t feel anything toward Selina mostly because the two don’t know each other that well. She knows that Selina left her with Ted because she wanted to stay with what she knew she would be good at...being Catwoman. Because of this Jacey thinks that Selina just didn't want her and thinks Selina is selfish because of it. But Jacey does have some of her mannerisms, such as being able to be seductive if they need to, a love of cats, and attraction to shiny objects. Though even if the comparision is meant to be a compliment Jacey doesn't like it, she doesn't want to admitt that she's like Selina cause she feels that Selina is a selfish criminal and would rather be like her father a tough hero.

HISTORY:
It isn’t exactly a huge secret that Selina Kyle and Ted Grant used to date, but even after the two parted ways they often kept a flirty relationship with each other. After a few years of seeing other the people the two met up again, caught up on each other’s lives since parting ways and one thing led to another and then the two ended up in bed once more. Nothing serious just a one night stand but a few months later Selina found herself pregnant. She didn’t want to abort the child but Selina couldn’t imagine herself raising a child while she was Catwoman as well. So after Jacey was born she left her daughter with her father thinking that Ted could be a better parent then she could be at the time.
Ted at first wasn’t sure about being a father, he never actually raised a child before but he loved Jacey the moment he saw her and decided that he could at least try. Jacey’s childhood was normal she didn’t get any of Ted’s superpowers but inherited some of Selina’s qualities instead. She had a feline empathy and had Catlike reflexes and speed though nothing superhuman. Jacey became Ted’s little sidekick growing up often watching from the sidelines as her father trained other heroes in his gym. She became a member of the JSA family from the moment she walked into the headquarters doors. She learned about her father’s double life from a young age and understood how it needed to be a secret.
As Jacey got older she took an interest in fighting, Ted knowing what kind of people were out in the world, Ted wanted Jacey to know how to protect herself so he trained her how to fight. Even had heroes like Powergirl and Black Canary help train her; they wanted her to have the best fighting chance possible. Once her training was over Ted asked her if she wanted to be a hero, because he would take her as his sidekick. Jacey however said no, she had seen the heart ache and dedication it took to be a hero so she said no, and that she would rather be someone on the sidelines. Now a days, Jacey is a student at a high school in Gotham City and hopes to attend College in a few years.

Jacey had her hands shoved into the pocket of her jacket; the sky was dark in Gotham City, like it always was but today it looked partially dark as if it was going to rain soon. ‘Great just what I need today’ She thought bitterly. It was a horrible week so far, a D on a math test thanks to her evil teacher, piles of homework and worst of all it was Mother’s day pretty soon. Normally mother’s day isn’t something that most people frown upon but to Jace it was just another horrible advertised holiday. Plus to mention Jace had a string of Mother issues. Jacey’s mother was Selina Kyle also known to the Cape community as Catwoman the Feline Fatal of Gotham City. Not that this meant anything to Jacey Grant, she didn’t really know Selina all that well.
‘I wonder what was wrong with me’ She thought stopping her walk to stare at the ground or more accurately she glared at the ground. Thoughts like this often filled her mind, why was Jacey not good enough for her mother. Why did she just cut herself out of Jacey’s life? Sure Jacey was more than happy with her father but a girl needed her mother too! She couldn’t come to Selina for all the girl problems in her life because Selina wasn’t there. Shaking her head, Jacey kept walking deciding not to dwell on the past. If Selina Kyle didn’t want to be a part of her life, Jace was more than ok with just Ted, he was a great dad and she didn’t need a happy stereotypical family she had the JSA for that.
