Mark Wayne could be seen as the typical billionaire, he is confident and brash, often giving money about and attending a lot of high class charity events and being seen as the warm and kind personality that he is. Mark is also a very charming and flirtatious often seen with the same smirk or grin on his face when he is talking to a woman. Mark is also seen as a patient man that is willing to give anyone the time that they need such as different charities and people that need his help as he is always willing to help people.
The Batman on the other hand could be seen as a very different type of man. He is a very intimidating and scary man, using different levels of fear to ensure that he would be able to bring the criminals to justice. However he does keep some aspects of his public identity within the bat. Always putting the people that he cares for before anyone else. Batman also has immense levels of guilt when he is not able to save the people that he is trying to protect. This can lead to immense levels of anger and self hatred. A burden that he shares with his father.
Mark Wayne was often called the by product of years of fighting between the batman and Catwoman. What some of Bruce Wayne’s hero friends said anyway, even though he had always maintained he did not have feelings for the rogue Catwoman, it was clear that it was not the case in the slightest. Their relationship was not that of a normal one, yet he did tend to allow her to get away with things that he had hounded others for. When Bruce learned of Selina being pregnant he offered to do the expected thing and help her raise the child, however she was hesitant to allow herself to grow to close to him because of the fact that she thought once the child was born he would hand her to the police and raise the kid himself. Even though there was no actual reason for her to believe this would happen it was her greatest fear could not move past it until Bruce had actually remained with her after Mark's birth.
However Bruce had no intention of taking the mother away from his child, actually allowing other heroes such as Robin and Nightwing in helping him protect Gotham and other members of the justice league to take some of his work load so that he could ensure that the mother and child would be fine, something that completely confused Selina as she had not expected such kindness from Bruce. When Selina was eight months pregnant Bruce had finally persuaded her to move into Wayne Manor at least until the baby was born. When Mark was born, Selina tried to persuade Bruce that they should not be together and that their son would make him weaker and that she was happy to leave Gotham with Mark. However Bruce refused and told Selina that he would not allow her to walk out of his life with his own son.
By the age of 8, Mark had begun training to be the new Robin, something that had been kept a secret from Selina however he was mostly trained by Tim Drake and Richard Grayson because of the fact that Bruce would be left to run Selina interference so that she did not find out, however Bruce did train his son a lot of the skills and got others to help perfect them. At the age of 11, Mark became robin for his father and it became clear that the young man was just as good at doing the job as any of the others that had been trained by Bruce. At the age of 18, he started studying at Gotham university in a degree of business and economics actually hanging up the cape and cowl while he did so, simply because he wanted to focus on his studies and he knew that there where others that would be more than capable of protecting the city. At the age of 26, Mark had a masters in both business and economics, he became Vice CEO to his father at Wayne Industries, however the more honourable title he felt he was given was that his father retired the mantel of batman to him. Mark has been the batman ever since and has been protecting Gotham as best he can. Mark also joined the Justice league not long after becoming batman joining Wonder woman on the council.
