PERSONALITY: Ariadne is first and foremost a smart and sassy girl. She knows when to talk how to talk and she won't hide anything from anyone. She can have quite a bit of a temper. Her temper isn't hot, burning and all consuming as most people are. When they go on yelling at each other taking their acts of vengeance just for the sake of it. That is not what Ariadne does. She stays calm under it, cool, calculating it is what makes her even more dangerous when she is pissed off. She doesn't allow it to just come over her and get it over with and out of the way. No she plans, calculates, thinks, reevaluate and then takes action. But there are some more positive sides to her as well. She loves her father and her friends and would do quite allot for them. And as such she is also afraid of loosing them. She can be very stubborn and does not change her mind about thing at all. It is often either black or white with her, she doesn't see the middle way and it is one of her great weaknesses. She loves to dance as it is a way of expressing herself. As for her semi double identity she doesn't know how to feel about it. She tried it out, just to try it and she has been doing it a couple of times but she's not sure if she should go on with it, or if she even can go on with it. Other then that at this point she could also go either way in her life. She could become much like her father, and stand on the right side of life. Fight with and for the good guys. Or she could become more like her mother, which wouldn't put her on that path, it depends on who she meets and when.

HISTORY:
Ariadne is the nineteen year old daughter of lawyer Matt Murdock and Elektra Natchios. She is an only child, as far as she knows, and she doesn't really remember her mother. Because her mother left her father, for reasons she doesn't know, when Ariadne was a little less then two years. And so she grew up with her father. She doesn't know much about her mother either, only what her father (and Foggy, her fathers best friend and colleague as they are both lawyers) have told her. And she really wants to find out for herself who her mother is.
In any case she grew up with her father. Which was unique to say the least. Not many people can say that they have been raised by a blind lawyer/vigilante. Not that she knew much of that at the start. No Ariadne always was a quite average child. There was only one thing she was really good at, it was sports. Even as a small child. And so she started to grow into martial arts (her father never really liked that one). By the time she was six she was doing martial arts and dancing, ballet at that. She didn't keep up with it for long though. Quit when she was ten, the ballet that is.
She began to dance in more modern styles. But another thing was coming closer and closer. The most embarrassing part of her whole life, her teenage years. Because growing up with a lie detecting father is bad enough, having to live with a lie detecting father during puberty. She envied just about everyone else for that one. And no, no one is going into details about that period. We'll keep it at that she did not spend that much time around her home.
What is another part of your teenage years? Why experimenting of course. And she did, just the basic stuff she did not go into anything illegal. She didn't quite go that far. But it is safe to say that not everything was 100 % by the book. Another thing that wasn't 100 % by the book was something she found out a few days before her sixteenth birthday.
Of course she read the paper. And as such of course she had read the stories that journalists wrote, that her father would be the supposed vigilante Daredevil. Slightly trusting her father that he would tell the truth about something like that she believed him when he lied to her about it. Then a question one might ask is, how does she know? Well as said Ariadne wasn't 100 % by the book. And as such she used to sneak out of her bedroom to go out with some of her friends, to go 'places' you know regular teen stuff. She always wondered how her father hadn't found out and one night she found the solution to that one.
After she came home from a late night 'walk' with a couple of her friends she heard something, or someone rather, walking around the house. When she went to investigate she saw the devil, and said devil was not wearing his mask. Between her father being mad at her for being out at the streets late at night and she being mad at him for not telling her. Everything kind of worked out.
And she sort of accepted that her father wore a creepy costume to go hunt bad guys at night, though yes that still was kind of creepy in her sixteen year old mind and thought. Now she has learned to deal with it. It also explained some of his injuries that he just seemed to wake up with when she was a kid. But life when on as usual, though Ariadne did not go out with her friends anymore. A couple of years later she had to decide what she wanted to study.
And she chose political science, unknowing that her mother had chosen the exact same thing. Now she follows the courses and though somewhat off the record every now and then pops up to help people here and there. Not really having decided on a name, or if she even wants to do this (right now it's just for the sake of it) she has settled on Helia. Coming from Greek mythology just like her name, she found it fitting. She also found it fitting to not tell her dad.
ACTOR/ACTRESS USED:Lily Collins
POST RP EXAMPLE:
Susan had never felt this tired in her life. As soon as the door closed she could relax a bit, as far as one could relax with a missing brother. Her ladies had left her on her own and she could breath a bit. Well at least she had gotten back to a reasonable temperature. And at least she had tried to get Edmund back. And failed, miserably. Still, she knew she had to keep trying. Perhaps after her nap, she knew that Caspian had been planning to go. She had hold him up, he probably wasn't to happy about that one either.
She had put out all of the candles and then gotten into her bed. She had had the scarf in her hands for quite a while. But right before she went to sleep she put it on her night table. It would be the safest there. And then she went to sleep. She needed it, quite allot of it to, not having slept in two days. It didn't take more then an instant for her to fall sleep, no doubt the other members of her party were also trying to get some rest. She might have been a tad bit overbearing. It was over now, now there was only rest. There was only sleep. And a good thing at that.
...............
It was odd though, she wasn't really asleep anymore. Nor was she awake. She didn't quite know how to call it. But she thought she felt something. Still more asleep then awake she blamed it on her imagination. But no she swore she felt someone touch her forehead. Maybe it was one of her ladies, but they ought to know better then to disturb her while she was sleeping. Or maybe it was someone else, she felt the hand move to her cheek. Resting here for a moment before it left her face again. Susan wasn't quite ready to awake just jet.
And then she felt something else. As if someone had put another blanket on her. Well that was kind, she was rather cold after all. She smiled a bit. In her sleep. It was nice of the person, who she assumed was the same person who had checked on her temperature. She rolled over so that she was laying on the other side of the bed as she felt the person softly kiss her forehead. Susan was waking up a bit more every second. Not only that but the last action did made her want to know who exactly was in her bedchambers, while she was sleeping, and kissed her forehead.
When the person spoke though she was awake. I love you, he said. And she didn't need much awareness, or she didn't need to be that awake, to know that it was Caspian who was in her room. She opened her eyes and stayed silent for a few moments. Did he mean it? She didn't know and she doubted it seeing as how they had parted. Still he was sitting on her desk writing apparently. No Susan couldn't believe it, not just like that.
With her hands she felt what she had thought to be a blanket was not one, no it was his cloak. She brought it closer to her face. As she tried to see what he was up to. Since she couldn't she just sat up in her bed. The last time she had seen him, or spoken to him. While it was not to long ago, Susan feared that it might have damaged their relationship. And so she was hesitant to open her mouth, she didn't want him to leave her.
Last time she had just looked him dead strait in the eye and treated him like royalty rather then a lover, or even a friend. No it was the kind of thing that they did in her family when one of them was being to annoying, or to much of a prick. To use it with him, while he had done nothing but try and be chivalrous wasn't what she should have done. Still he had reminded her of the one thing that she did not want him to be. One of those endless fools who during the golden age, tried to court her. Did they honestly think she needed that kind of behavior from anyone? Honestly she did not.
When, but more importantly, if, she chose to settle down, marry, choose a lover. However you might want to call it. She'd want him to be kind, and friendly, just, smart, someone with his heart on the right place. She certainly did not want any old fool who thought of her as some sort of mere piece of jewelry, a trinket and something to be kept safe and kept locked away from the world. And she had panicked when he had done so. Merely picking her up was something that she shouldn't have reacted on in that way. The fault was with her.
She had to let something known to him. That she was awake, or something close to that state. She needed tea or some coffee to be fully awake anyway. She coughed once. "Caspian" she asked, or said. But she was surprised at how sleepy her voice still sounded. "What are you doing here?" she asked him.
