PERSONALITY:
Marley is a wild young girl, causing trouble, getting herself into it and trying to fix things herself. She is very independent for her age and can tend to drive people away, not wanting to get close to them just to loose them. She can tend to have a short temper, snapping at people who really didn’t mean to make her angry. She is also angered easily, and she is afraid that her temper would eventually cost the lives of those around her. Marley loves to be by herself, away from people who would annoy her or people that she would just regret meeting because of her nature of driving people away.

Marley is a kind girl though. Even though she has all those bad traits, she is still able to show she cares and is never going to turn away from someone who needs her help. She is generally a sweet person, knowing that she would want to help people the rest of her life, but not always as a hero. Marley has big dreams of becoming a doctor.

Marley is also very intelligent. She succeeds well in school and she tries to show that she can be successful, not only as a hero and a detective but also prove to herself that she can be anything she wants to be. Marley has the motivation to do things, such as succeed and enough devotion to try. Marley is also fluent in both English and French.

Marley is also an athletic person in her own way. She fails at playing sports, except Volleyball, and Badminton, but she can run a mile like its nothing. She isn’t coordinated that way. Marley is also skilled and has enough dedication to master Tae Kwon Do. She is also fond of Yoga and Tai Chi.

HISTORY:

Marlow Teagan Wayne was born to Gayle Connors and Bruce Wayne on Octorber 31st. Her mother and Bruce never married, just had a long term relationship and they thought it would last a long time. Gayle had gotten a job in Paris, when Marley was 3, and she took Marlow with her. Marlow grew up in Paris, spending most of her time playing violin and doing Yoga and Tai Chi. Marlow had then been taught Jujitsu privately by a professional and upon the request of her mother.

When Marlow became of age, she had gone to a private school. Marley never saw much of her mother anymore, she was always working and had always locked herself in her study or office. Marley had become independent, not wanting to tell her mother that it bothered her that she was never around. This continued on until Marley was ten.

At the age of ten, Marley had gone with her mom to visit her Aunt Lynn-Ann and Cousin Barbara in Gotham City. Little did Marley know at the time was that her mother was going to abandon her there and Lynn-Ann knew, and didn’t care. Gayle had left the night that she had arrived and Marley figured it out a day later when her mother was no where to be found. Marley had been with her aunt for some time, and was mistreated, seeing as her Aunt, Uncle and Cousin were from a different world, a world of high social class, and held charity events and such.

Marley started feeling depressed, blaming herself for her mother’s departure and she eventually started acting out, still doing well in school but being disruptive, had gotten suspended for vandalism and other minor offenses. She would also wander Gotham late at night, past curfew and didn’t care one bit. She would come home late, ditch school and made her Aunt and Uncle furious with her that they eventually kicked her out of the home.

Marley had been a child, age 12, living off the streets. She had been picked up by child services. She was placed in a foster home with people who had already have too much on their plate to care about her. Marley had run away a few months later, lived off the streets for another week and the same thing happened. This continued for about a year until they just put her in a home for girls. Marley lived there for a year and she ran away again, not liking it there either.

Marley had then been attacked by a gang one night, while walking down an alley to get to the street. She was able to defend herself, fighting the gang off and nearly beating the leader of the small street gang to death before she was stopped by Batman who seemed a bit amazed at her strength. Marley was taken back to the girls home by Batman, and she hated that. Before she could run away again, Bruce Wayne had come to “adopt her” still unknowing to her that he was her biological father and had parental claim.

Marley had moved into Wayne manor, and eventually learned that Bruce Wayne was Batman, when he learned he could trust her. It also had to come out that he was her biological father. Before he had the chance to tell her, she had run off again, this time, not fully running away, but just stopped at the bus stop, not getting on any bus but watching them go by. Bruce had caught up to her and convinced her to return to the manor with him and she was surprised that she did, also confessing that she didn’t belong anywhere.

Marlow now currently lives in Wayne Manor, with his adoptive daughter Brittany, whom she doesn’t know well, and is the new Robin on his team, learning how to not only be better at crime fighting, but to also control her anger. She also attends high school as a Freshman.
