Gabe became slightly uncomfortable as he knew his scarce activity in the mansion and on the New xmen team would raise questions to the more observant. Gabe was a gay man and the son of a well known business man and the head of worthing ton Lab and pharmaceuticals so he was forced to stay hidden not to mention his insane mother was not going to give up on him until she was his and in her control. Gabe sighed as he looked at the vampiric doc and began to struggle slightly as he was not sure he should tell the man but he then decided that the Doc could be trusted.
"Not only am I gay but I am also the heir to Worthington Labs and as such I am not meant to be on the battlefield or in the public eye and so I have a penthouse in the city as well as a beach house in Huntington Beach to escape to if need to ." Gabe said as he shuffled his feet slightly as he felt like a little kid that his father was overprotecting and so he felt useless sometimes. He could not even look at the Doc as he was afraid what the man was thinking at the moment and that thought alone had him slightly scared.

He could see Gabe's inner struggle to reveal anything to JJ and smiled calmly. He always listened to people and seemed to be able to get their troubles out of them. It was a nice little gift he'd gained. As far as he knew it wasn't super powered in any way. But in a world of fighting and dealing with weakness and all that other bull JJ was there to simply listen and not judge. Provided he wasn't judged of course.
"Ah the gay heir wanting to keep him safe and perhaps out of the lime light."
He said nodding his head with a reassuring smile.
"Yeah, being an heir is rough isn't it? Being the Prince of the Vampires isn't any easier if it makes you feel better. Especially when your grandfather is batshit nuts, no pun intended, and has followers who want you and your mom to be pawns in whatever scheme he has at the time. Maybe I need to invest in a beach house, sounds nice."
He said laughing a bit.

"Well I think I can understand you see besides of old vampires looking for my approval I have old men who sometimes want more than I am willing to give if you catch my drift. However my father loves me greatly even though his methods are a little more extreme than I am use to but I have a few tricks that I can do to buy me a little time out on the night." Gabe said as he began to chant a spell that would hide his wings from view of others and as he unleashed the spell he felt the familiar tingle as his wings became invisible.
Gabe looked at the good doc and smiled, "You see now I am just another kid out looking for a good time, it is fun to fly this way as it freaks people out ." Gabe said with a huge grin on his face. He did not like to hide but sometimes it was necessary to do it and it gave him a new found freedom that he was never going to have considering his appearance and gifts. Gabe smiled as the man suggest a beach home as he was sure his father had property on some beach somewhere. "If you are ever interested i am sure I can find one that you can crash out near some of the hottest night life !" Gabe said as he figure that the man would not be able to enjoy the beach during the day.

"Yeah, I feel ya. Although I got a little opposite of that. I get the hot young girls, or some of the really ugly ones who find out what I am and want to become a vampire. They watch the movies read the books and think it's so simple and so much fun. Idiots, I tell ya. There's no way I'm dying for some dumb woman."
He said shaking his head. Sure his problem wasn't anything like Gabe's. If anything it was a lot easier to deal with, but still. That was about as close as he could get. Oddly enough the two actually had a lot in common. He smirked a bit as he noticed Gabe use his magic. It was impressive and made things so much easier for him.
"Well a beach house with a lot of night life, sounds fun."
He said nodding his head and smiling a bit. He liked that he had the offer on the table. After all a weekend or so away in a beach house would be a lot of fun. He liked the opportunity. He just needed to figure out when. Not to mention he could find someone to have a little fun with. He was always up for that one.
"Where abouts is it?"

Gabe imagined a group of giggly girls chasing after the good Doctor begging him to bite them. It was a big thing in the media these to glorify the undead in a romantic way which gives the world a poor misconception of a group that are trained killers and hunters. Gabe had read few stories about people falling in love with angel like people and that was sad since he could use someone chasing after him with love in there eyes. Gabe sighed as the subject changed to where he owned property.
"My father owns tons of beach property all over so I can get you a place where ever you like, I prefer huntington beach myself but that is because there is tons of young guys roaming around!" Gabe laughed as he made fun of his personal prefrence as he released his spell and brought his wings back into view as he ran a hand through is shaggy unkempt hair. Gabe would head out there soon as the xmen did not need him for some of the smaller mission that have been posted in the warroom.

"Well I hope it's not just a bunch of guys running around there. I mean if that's what you're into that's cool."
He said laughing a bit. Gay or not JJ didn't base any opinion about someone on that. He was just glad he was open enough to admit that. However he may now have to rethink where he vacationed. Sure a bunch of guys might be a plus for him, but really didn't do much for JJ. Hell he rarely even fed on guys. It wasn't a homophobic thing he just felt women tasted better. Not to mention the feedings could become slightly sexual in nature.
"Although it's a beach so that would mean women in bikinis. Plus if necessary I can play the vampire card and draw them out. I mean sure it's a little cheap but all's fair in love and war."
He said laughing a bit. He personally didn't think it was too wrong. After all he'd figured enough things out now. Just find the right girl who looked gossipy, let it slip in conversation and he was set. It worked everytime.

Gabe laughed harder as the Vampire joke about beaching somewhere near the beautiful women in bikinis as if the beach Gabe suggested was male only. Gabe was gay and so he only noticed the men however there was plenty of women for the good looking doctor to sink his teeth so to speak. Gabe was glad he had met someone who looked past all the unimportant things and saw him for who he was and that was just another one of the guys. Gabe found that Jj would make an excellent friend and one he could trust and rely on considering that they had so much in common that it only made sense they should be friends.
" I will give my old man a call and get you a place to crash, there is plenty of good looking girls who I am sure will be begging for your toothy attention. I mean come on it is Cali for goodness sake, just leave the dud to me and the girls are all yours! " Gabe said with a wink before bursting out in laughter once more. He was a happy child and so it has been said that his laughter was infectious at time, " I am heading out there soon for a little get away if you want to join that cool, I can show the best night time spots and by the time we get back you will be begging to go back!" Gabe added as he stood up and stretched.

"Hey just because they want to be bit doesn't mean I will. However a little taste couldn't hurt. I mean clearly there can't be anything wrong with that, right?"
He asked with a smirk. He liked the idea of some time off. He'd been going hard since the Titans and hadn't had much of a chance to relax. But this little vacation was just what he needed. Head out to the beach, meet some women and have some fun. Plus he could hang with Gabe so that was cool too. He liked the guy, he wasn't at all odd despite what some had said.
"Only down side, I won't get to see any bikinis. Well, I suppose I'll just have to make due with what I can."
He laughed a bit and nodded his head. He'd loved to be able to hang out on the beach and enjoy the scenery. But if he did he'd catch a nasty case of dead.
"And for the record, I don't beg. I mean sure I'm not what people expect but I'm still a prince."
