Biokinesis:
He’s capable of controlling the biology and structure of his body and anyone else’s body. While unknown if it’s at the same level his father’s was they are very similar right down to the golden light produced while healing. He’s healed broken bones, cured basic sicknesses and other basic issues. He’s studying more so he can possibly do more like his father did when he regrew someone heart.
NOTE: It is currently unknown if he also has his father’s ‘Black’ powers especially since his father will not mention them to Joshua just in case he begins abusing them.
Vampiric Abilities:
Strength, speed and agility enhanced to peak human levels
After feeding off someone they become incredibly infatuated with him and he can manipulate them. Were he to die they would then become a vampire

His mother’s curse:
Like his mother who cannot die unless Dracula dies JJ cannot die unless his mother dies. The curse's origins are gypsy based and were used in retaliation. Lilith can't die unless Dracula dies but can't ever bring herself to kill her. So like that he can't kill his mother, not that he'd want to. His deaths are temporary as his spirit then inhabits a body, takes it over and remakes the body into himself complete with his X-gene. However he must find a male who fits the right criteria which is a mutant male who has at least one mutant parent.
Oddly enough he’s inherited some ‘stereotypical’ traits most vampires don’t have. For example:
Casts no reflection in glass or camera
Must be invited into a home before entering
If there’s a group of something he has to count it before he can move on. His senses do help though
Has to untie knots no matter what

Any secrets?: While never admitting this he loves the way blood tastes and how he feels when he drinks it. Which is why he only drinks actual blood once a week, if that.
PERSONALITY:
JJ is a really friendly and kind guy. He’ll befriend anyone and everyone. He’s the kind of guy other people have a tendency to just like right away. He’s a great listener and will drop whatever he’s doing to help someone. He’s just that nice guy who you know will listen to your problems and give you an honest answer no matter what. He’s a bit of a flirt, usually giving some kind of sweet talk compliment and slight smile of his to get women to melt. However unlike some he’s very loyal. And wouldn’t even consider cheating.
But, just like his father he’s a pacifist. Can he fight? Yes, he can fight. With his vampiric powers and training he can occasionally hold his own. But he knows that if his powers are anything like his father’s they should be used for good, despite the fact he has no knowledge of the ‘black’ powers. Plus hurting someone goes against his natural desire to help people. Which is why he usually hangs out in the med lab helping people.

HISTORY:
Elixir and Lilith first met when Elixir was with X-Factor and he was stuck in ‘black mode’ and they ran into the Howling Commandos. Since Lilith was still able to touch Elixir without being hurt the two developed a quick friendship. But that friendship then turned into something more and the two began dating. Elixir went back to the X-Men and the two kept a relationship going. When he was old enough, in his mind, he proposed to her and the two were quickly married. Of course she didn’t know she already had JJ on the way. Josh had invited his mother to the wedding and brothers as his father had already died. His mother came, made a scene, called him a freak and left. Furious at how her husband had been treated and for ruining her wedding Lilith paid a visit to Josh’s mother and killed her. A secret Elixir still doesn’t know, or isn’t letting on to. It soon became evident that their first son had some strange vampiric abilities
His mother had talked to Blade and acquired a sample of the serum he used so her son could use it as unlike her he actually needed to feed. When he was about 13 his mutant ability manifested. He’d fallen and skinned his knee. As he held it he healed it. His father then set to train him to use his abilities for good, unlike he had. His class load at Xavier’s changed and came to include a special Anatomy class taught by his father. But soon JJ left and joined the Titans, wanting to strike out on his own. He took the name Kid V and fought with the Titans on several missions, making a good name for himself. He still kept in touch with his parents as well as his brother and sister. He was heartbroken when he found out his sister had gone evil and joined the Brotherhood. But then he heard his brother wanted to follow in JJ’s footsteps and joined the Titans. JJ passed the Kid V title over to him and took the name Doc V and began to go on fewer missions. It was then he got word from his parents. They were both retiring and were going to search for Dracula. Lilith didn’t want to watch her loving husband die, despite the fact he barely aged, and didn’t want her kids to suffer the same curse. As JJ had died the year before while on a mission only to come back and give birth to a few new vampires he’d fed on in times of weakness.
Hearing that his father was leaving and knowing he was getting older JJ returned to the X-Men to work as their doctor in the med lab. He teaches the occasional anatomy and field medicine course as well as mentoring some of the other mutants with healing powers. Because of this he got the nickname Dr. Acula, a name he takes great offense to. His mother had left him with the recipe for his serum, even though he hates the taste of it and prefers blood. So he continues to work at Xavier’s even going with the X-Men when they need him.

POST RP EXAMPLE:There was a sound of footsteps echoing on the metal through the hallway as JJ walked towards the med lab. It was about 8 at night and he’d just woken up from a nap. His weakness towards sunlight usually resulted in him sleeping most of the day, unless he has a class of course. He walked up to the door to the med lab and it slid open. As he entered he looked around at the mirrors and glass cabinets, giving no reflection. Luckily he had some people to help him make sure his hair looked good and everything else worked for him.
He walked over to a special cabinet with his name on it and opened it. On one side were a series of tubes for his serum and on the other were a few bags of blood. He grabbed a bag of blood and began to drink as he walked around the lab getting it ready. There would probably be night exercises tonight and no doubt he’d have a couple students in here. As he sucked on his blood juice box the door opened his didn’t turn around just kept getting everything ready.
“Hi there, what seems to be wrong? Just have a seat and I’ll be right with you.”
He said before finishing his bag and throwing it away. He wiped his mouth as best he could before turning around with a smile, his fangs still out and a look of bliss in his eyes.
