PERSONALITY:
Katerina is a lot like her mother Cassandra. She is socially awkward around people and never really knows how to communicate around them. She is quiet a lot of the time and only speaks when she feels that she has too. Katerina is very dedicated to her job and tries to do the best she can. Though Katerina is a hero she isn't afraid to kill people or use illegal means to make sure justice is properly given.
When she's not a vigilante Katerina is still quiet and tends to focus more on her work since she has a harder time doing the work than most. Because of this she doesn't have much of a social life though she tends to keep what little friends she has close to her.Katerina has dyslexia, so she has trouble reading, writing, speaking and doing math problems. Because of this she doesn't feel like she's as smart as everyone else in the world and tends to think of herself as stupid.

HISTORY:
Katerina is the daughter of ex Batgirl Cassandra Cain and Author Eric Wilson. Her parents met when Cassandra saved his life as Bat Girl, but didn't think he'd ever meet her in real life. That is until a few years later when he moved to Hong Kong for research for his book. There his life was once again saved by her though she had taken up the title of Kasumi. Eric had aquired an obsession for the masked vigilante and it began to show in his work. Eventually he was able to gain his heroine's trust and they began to meet though she was always wearing the mask. Once he fully gained her trust by saving her on one of her missions she showed him her real identity.
They began to date, though Eric never found out Cassandra's past as an assassin he knew she was Batgirl. This would turn out to be a fatal mistake not knowing what he was up against. His face was known for helping out Kasumi once and one of her foes had killed him. Cassandra didn't discover she was pregnant till after his death so she had to raise a child alone.
Though Cassandra had no idea how to raise a child, Katerina became the apple of her eye. Around age six, Cassandra trained her daughter how to fight and save people hoping to not repeat the mistake she felt her parents made with her. Though to Cassandra's dismay Katerina gained her dsylexia so Katerina has trouble reading. Though beside this she is a healthy smart teenage girl. Katerina became a vigilante like her mother when she was in high school in Hong Kong. She was accepted into a school in America and Cassandra encouraged her daughter to go there, though she would have to stay in Hong Kong. Now as a college student she sets her sights toward America to meet the famous Batman family.

Katerina gave a shakey sigh as she walked inside the airport of Hong Kong. She was leaving to America today but her mother wasn't with her yet. Cassandra was still at her day job but would be off before her daughter would board it would be a sad day for both of them. Cassandra's first daughter the child she had doted over and always been there in her life was leaving her.
Katerina shook away the guilty thoughts her mother supported her idea if not begged her to travel and help people in other places. Her mother could handle Hong Kong it was time for her eighteen year old daughter to make her own mark on the world while attending college of course.
Sitting down on a bench in pulling her luggage closer to her Katerina looked at her college brochures a little overwhelmed she'd spend four years of her life here. But at the same time it was a little exciting she took English as her language in high school but had been practing all summer since she had gotten her acceptance. Closing her eyes she put her earphones in her ears and listened to music hopefully this would soothe her worried stomache.
