Walking through the entrance of the SHIELD helicarrier, Nathan rolled his shoulders, a bit tired. He had been going out later and later as Spider-Teen, and it had been affecting his sleeping, as well as his studies and grades at school. While he was still getting good grades, they had begun to dip, and on top of that, the director of Shield wanted to talk to him for some strange reason. Was the director planning to make him a reserve member of SHIELD, or was she planning to try and get him to become a full member of shield or something. In all honesty, he had no idea. He just needed to get to this meeting and find out.
Rubbing his eyes as he got to the conference room of the helicarrier, Nathan yawned slightly and looked around. The room was empty, and he didn’t think the director would mind if he took a seat and waited for the meeting to begin. Pulling a chair out a bit, he sat in it, and he leaned back in it. He needed to rest a bit right now, because he had been in a very big fight last night, with some new villain. He had barely survived, because this new villain was extremly strong, and his own powers had not been sufficient to take on the villain. He had needed to use all of his powers and combat training, as well as his acrobatic prowess. That was why he was very tired right now. Rubbing the back of his neck, he thought about the designs he had been going over lately.

Marti had to admit that she was not sure how good this meeting would go however she felt that she had to talk to the spider teen, she had heard that with there being the young avengers as well of a number of other teams in the US was not something that was good because it seemed that there was a lot of teams around in a few areas so she was going to try and see if she could get some of the heroes to merge teams potentially, she had thought that talking to the young avengers and seeing if they could get something together in which the young avengers could help the older avengers in anyway.
Walking into the boardroom she was happy to see that the young man was waiting on her, walking across to her desk the silence was filled by the clicking of her heels of her shoes even though she didn’t need heels with the fact that she was so damn tall on her own. Sitting down she straightened her glasses before speaking. “Sorry for getting you in so early but I thought that I would have a better chance when you weren’t patrolling.” She said “However I wanted to try and gauge your response for possibly merging the young avengers and the avengers what do you think?”

Nathan rubbed his face as his tiredness began to catch up with him. Shaking it off, he needed to stay pretty much awake to talk to the director of S.H.I.E.L.D. He thought that maybe she would talk to Abby, as she was the team leader of the young avengers. He was just the son of Spider-Man, which while was good, was also nothing when you’re team leader was the daughter of Tony Stark, A.K.A Iron Man. However, he did believe he was important, as his father had helped save New York several times, and he was a founding member of the New Avengers. So, his dad was also important.
When the director came in, Nathan looked at her and said “Good morning mrs Creed. I hope you have had a good day.” Nathan was always very formal infront of authorative figures. It was one reason people had used to beat him up, before he had discovered his powers. When she apologized for getting him in early, he replied “It is fine. I did not have a lot to do today anyway.” He listened as she explained her proposal. She wanted to merge the Young avengers with the avengers, and she wanted to know what he thought. Carefully considering it, Nathan said “It does seem like a good idea. But, there is one thing. Some of the Young Avengers have a parent who is an Avenger. if the teams were to merge, the parents might worry about their children more than they usually do, since they will be equals.”

At the level of respect that the young man had for her Marti had to admit that she was impressed but at the same time that didn’t mean that she necessarily liked it because of the fact that it wasn’t like it had been she had told them to call her Creed, also with the problems that her father and grandfather had caused those with powers she had generally gone by director, or what she got called behind her back which was legs, not that she had a problem with that as she knew that she was bound to get a nickname like that with the body type that she had. “Mrs Creed was my mother spider teen I am more than happy with being called Director, or Spyke as you are not the only one with a codename,” she said
Even though she hadn’t been on active duty for about 3 years the leggy blonde was just as good as any agent that they trained even though she was not going to brag but she was just taking more responsibility, it wasn’t that she couldn’t do the active job. When the young man voiced his opinion Marti had to admit that she had been wary of the decision herself but she was going to put it to all of the team and see what they thought. “I can understand that but I was thinking more of a merging so that some parents could be working together with their children after all who would be a better mentor for say yourself to better your powers than your own father, and I think miss Stark would benefit with her father by her side do you not think?”

Nathan was showing respect for the director for the simples reason that she was his superior, and he did respect her. He had heard stories about her being a good field agent, and he knew that she had probably thought her proposal and idea through before bringing him in and talking to him about it. However, his father had always worried about him, and so had his mother, and Nathan thought that his father might try and prevent him getting into conflicts. The fact he had gotten hurt saving Abby did not help matters, as he had been yelled at by both his parents, but his mother had been more understanding. Nathan metaphorically shook his head, as he did not need to let his thoughts drift right now while he was talking to the director of S.H.I.E.L.D.
When the director said “I can understand that but I was thinking more of a merging so that some parents could be working together with their children after all who would be a better mentor for say yourself to better your powers than your own father, and I think miss Stark would benefit with her father by her side do you not think?”, Nathan could see the logic in her response. Both him and Abby might benefit more if their fathers were by their sides to teach them more about their powers and technology. While he did not possess all of his father’s powers, Nathan had some of them at a more advanced level. Looking at the director, he said “Director, I think that this merger is mostly a good idea. Me and Abigail may be better suited if our father’s were to be on a team with us, and I think that this is a very good idea overall.”
