I won't tell you that I love you Kiss or hug you Cause I'm bluffin' with my muffin The brunette demigoddess wondered the alleyway, her trusted sword clasped tightly in her hand. To the untrained eye, her weapon looked like an ordinary ballpoint pen when in reality it was only Riptide sheathed. She couldn’t be too careful in the darkening afternoon of the city in Texas. She had heard of a small group of flesh-eating horses roaming around eating people that were wondering the streets late at night, thus the reason why she was doing the same. She made sure that the wasn’t too far from a water source just in case she needed to use it, but she would fight it out like the warrior she had become since she left home. She was ever watchful as she walked along the concrete path, thanks to her ADHD and being ready for a battle at a moment’s notice. She turned a corner and paused as her eyes took in her surroundings again, and her hand tighten even more around her beloved sword. Her ring sitting comfortably on her right ring finger, knowing she was well prepared for what she was looking for. She heard the clomping of hooves approach her location, and she couldn’t help the smile that was on her face as she ducked back into the alley. She unsheathed her sword and it transformed from a pen to a bronze sword that will harm anything that isn’t mortal. She watched as the monster she was looking for spied her, and then charged at her. She dove off to the side, rolling as she landed, and sprang back up facing the horses once more. ”Now I’ll give you a choice. Either stop eating people on your own or I will stop you. If you choose the later you can either have a forced bath or meet Riptide.” She told the group, and summoned an amount of water to her from the storm drain below them when she mentioned ‘bath’ and showed the group her sword when she mentioned ‘Riptide’. She waited patiently as they made up their minds, and when they charged her she knew they wanted to get to know Riptide. She sighed mentally, and prepared to fight them by diving and slicing as they went. words // 369 // tagged // open // notes // they should have just stopped on their own |
