The sun was beating down on the busy streets of the city. People buzzed around standing by their stores. Some people stayed within the confides of their shops, but they still drew in costumers in by utilizing bright flashy signs or people dressed up as... things that were supposed to look like a cupcake but really looked like someone had take whatever was left at a fabric store after hours, sewed it together and told someone to wear it on the side of the street and dance. There were also a few people standing around taking pictures of those dancinhg people but then there were the teenagers standing around and pointing and laughing at those dancing fools. A blonde woman walked by and shot a quick glance towards the tourists who were taking picture with the dancing... cupcake? Funny thing was that it wasn't a look that said I hate you or what the hell is wrong with you, it was a look of desire. Amber wanted to burst into choreographed song and dance... like in those muscials.
Amber had been looking to score a few new high end guys... you know the big guns who paid the big buck. Well, a few weeks ago, she had been assigned a target. Some guy who was calling himself, Spider-Teen. Appearently he was causing a few people some trouble. People who were well conected enough to get amber in on a deal. They would pay her for killing this kid. Amber really didn't care if he was a kid, elderly woman or a little lost puppy, she just wanted some action and some moula! This was a big dea killing a hero. It was alway just some kind of political killing, never anything truely big. This was her shot to get into the big buisness. Making a nae for herself which didn't leave her in the shadow of her 'father'
Shoving her hands in her jacket pockets, Amber walked to the edge of the sidewalk from the street across from the bank. Raising her head, Amber allowed her eyes to follow up the very small building. Then Amber said blaintently with wide eyes. "Damn... that's one short building." One of the shop keepers standing behind her shook his head as he spoke. "No... really?" Turning around, Amber shot the man a death glare.
Kill him!
Yeah... i'm with reddy on this one!
With a smile driving across aAmber's face, she prepared to reach for her knife. Then shaking her head, Amber got control back from the red voice. With a kind smile and a nod, Amber returned her hand into her pocket and turned back towards the building and began crossing the street.
What are you doing?
Yeah!
We could have killed him!
Yeah!
"No we couldn't have... we're on the job... we need this hit. Okay? Deal with it."
Fine...
I'm not happy right now.
Rolling her eyes, Amber walked into the building. The two doors standing infront of her opened automatically. Amber slowly walked in keeping her hands within the pockets of the black trench coat which kind of made her look like Neo from the Matrix move, but that wasn't the point. Lowereing her head, Amber avoided the cameras which were kind of hidden in plain sight. Slowly, Amber made her way towards the front desk where two woman sat monitoring the many computors which most likely had some of the camera feeds from this place. Amber stopped at the desk and cleared her throat trying to get attention from one of the women.
It took them a couple of second, but eventually, the one who sat on the left side of the desk raised her head and smiled towards Amber. "Hello Mrs... how may I help you?" she said with an overly perky smile and a voice so sweet you could use it to make a cake. Rolling her eyes once more, Amber mached the girls smile and tone of voice and said. "Please walk around the desk, or I'm going to put a bullet between your pretty little eyes." The womans face turned from sweet to shocked in mere seconds. Reaching for the emergency button, Amber stopped her by reaching over the counter and grabbing the woman by the hair and pulling her over the counter.
The woman's feet dragged the remainder of the desk over with her. Small trinkits and note pads and phone numbers now laid scattered across the floor. The woman wore a nice medium sized black skirt and a nice buisness like dress shirt. Itwas a suit for women. The woman's long brown hair now laid free along her shoulder free from the terribel bun it had been up into. Adjusting her grip, Amber swung the woman around and now had her arm around the woman's neck. Using her free hand, Amber tossed her trench coat aside and revealed her skin tight costume. Flicking her head back, the hat she had been wearing fell to the floor along with the assoreted materials and reavealed her black and red face mask. Now, her hand moved with such speed and grabbed the gun which was being holstered in the holster around her waist behind her.
Swinging around, Amber made three perfect shots and killed the three security guards who had been standing around when Amber had entered the building. She also took a few seconds and shot out the four plainly positioned cameras. Now with their eyes and ears knocked out, Amber whipped around and faced the second woman who sat at the desk. The woman was near tears and shaken with fear. With a sadistc smile on her face, amber spoke. "Get up and walk around the desk." The woman did as such and took a seat near the other people who had been walking around the lobby. "Everyone... this is a stick up. You move you die... got it?" The group nodded and Amber smiled with joy. "Perfect."
