The brown hair, blue eyed teen staggered down the shoreline toward the water that was gently lapping at the beach. She had just cut down a chimera, and she of course was injured gravely. She was on the verge of passing out, and if she didn’t make it to the water she would be in a world of trouble. Her bronze sword dragged against the sand by the tip, as she swayed and stumbled forward toward the only thing that could heal her.
She watched as the shoreline swam in front of her eyes as blood dripped from her right arm from where the creature had tried to bite it off of her. She had indeed lost a lot of blood, and the darkness of the night wasn’t helping either. The stars twinkled in annoyance of her current state of health, and the full moon shone brightly above her lighting up her way. Of course she was just about certain that she was going to collapse just short of reaching her goal.
The teen demigod had no idea how right she was, as she began to feel her body give away from the sustained injuries of her recent fight. She was just a few yards shy of just reaching out her hand and touching the water, before she first fell to her knees and then face first into the sand. She then painfully reached out her hand and looked at the water, before weakly commanding it to come to her. It only got half way to her, before it fell to the ground as she couldn’t command it in her condition. She hated to acknowledge it, but she needed help. But at however, she was alone on this beach…

"Are you sure he's dead?" This was really getting stupid. This guy's useless paranoia was so agitating. You don't hire a guy to do his job, then pester him about getting it done right when it's already been done. He rubbed his forehead with his free hand, holding the cell phone to his right ear. "For the last time, the guy is dead. D E A D, dead. You saw him yourself on the news didn't you? The only executive decision this guy is making is whether he wants to be boiled or fried." He still heard his client's breath of unease. The guy definitely wasn't a doctor, but any idiot could infer that three bullets to the heart would kill not only a man, but a middle aged man with a heart condition. "Alright, the money is being moved to a secure account." Tommy nodded to himself subtly "Pleasu- well...good business with you." Tommy quickly hung up the phone and stuck it into his jean pocket. It was a huge relief to finally stop talking to that sad excuse for a politician. This poor place was probably much better off with the guy he had shot in the heart two days ago, but that wasn't any of his concern, money was money, and money makes the world go round.
A walk down the beach was a nice way to wrap up a job. Being in solitude for most of his life, Tommy learned to appreciate the beauty of nature and all of it's natural sounds. It was a apparent that a lot of civilians his age didn't appreciate these things as much as they should, maybe they should learn to. Tommy wasn't exactly a freak for it, but he could enjoy it at least. He walked near the shoreline until he saw a girl on the ground. The sight of it shocked Tommy, which was something considering whaty he does on a daily basis. There was something about this particular scenario that seemed to freak him out. His first thought was to ignore her, it's usually what he would do. He learned that interaction with people outside of his business was bad, it only got in the way, but there was some sort of instinct that pushed his urge toward another direction. Not thinking of it, Tommy felt like he had to check on her. There was nobody else around, and it looked serious, this girl could die without anybody knowing. Struggling internally a bit, Tommy bit his lip looking at her from afar. Before he could fully make a decision, he ran toward her.
He kneeled down and sat her up, supporting her with his arm. He looked at her right arm that was bleeding, but he didn't focus on why. He shook her lightly, "Hey, are you alright?" It was obvious that she wasn't, but you had to ask these questions in these situations, it was an unavoidable thing. He shook her just a bit, waiting to see a reaction.

Oly soon found herself closing her eyes, dreading the inevitable. She didn’t want to end it like this, but she couldn’t just collect the strength to close the distance between her and the water. She wondered if her real father wanted her to end like this. Sure, she hadn’t met him but he seemed to always be looking out for her. He gave her Riptide, her ring, and her unique abilities. She only hoped that he would help her some how. She of course was rewarded with an answer to her hoping shortly.
”Hey, are you alright?”
She felt her body being shook lightly, as a boy about her age asked her. She managed to peel open her eyes and look at him. ”Water.” She mutter barely above a whisper. She needed to heal, and heal quickly. She wouldn’t make it to the nearest hospital, and she knew it. The only way for her to survive this was to get to the ocean, and allow the water to heal her.

Water? That felt like a weird thing to ask for in this moment. It would be obvious that she was dehydrated, but the only water around was ocean water which was not safe to drink. Thinking about it a bit more though, why was that the first thing she asked for? She was probably aware that there was a gash in her arm, 'medical assistance' was a more appropriate response, or just plain old 'help'. A normal person wouldn't have thought this hard about it, but traveling around a world filled with super humans, aliens, and other things, your mind becomes a bit more open.
Looking at the water crashing a bit farther than the shore, he figured this girl must be a mutant or something. He guessed he should bring her out to the water, maybe shed be revitalized or something, that or the saltwater would hurt her and he'd just look like an idiot, Tommy was a bit of a gambler anyway. "Alright, water." Kneeling up a bit, Tommy positioned the girl and lifted her up in his arms. He felt like he could be making a mistake walking to the water, but it was the only shot at the moment for her. He walked toward the water, not caring about his sneakers or jeans getting wet, he was pretty sure the girl wouldn't care either. He walked was it deep into the water, then put his arms down to submerge the girl's body, but kept her head out of it. He waited to see of something strange happened.

Oly was prepared to demand him to take her to the ocean, and tell him that he only had to put her hand in the water. She was sure that he would argue and doubt her, and she really had no time to have him to do either. However, when he did neither, she suddenly knew something was not normal about this boy. A normal person would insist to take her to a hospital and ignore her saying otherwise. She of course made a mental note to look into this later.
”Alright, water.”
She sighed in relief when he picked her up and carried into the water. He didn’t have to go in with her, but she didn’t argue. She couldn’t afford to argue, and sighed once again in relief the moment her body made contact with the liquid element that her father commands. She felt the water wind is way up to her wound, and felt it start to heal her. She smirked at him as she turned her head to watch her injury start to heal itself. It healed just before he submerged her, minus her head. So she suddenly knew that he had no idea what or who she was exactly, and for her that was a good thing. ”Thanks.” She told him as she pushed herself out of his arms and stood up completely revitalized and ready for battle once again.

Tommy was a bit shocked at the amount of energy she had right after bringing her to the water. It was only a gash on her arm, but it wouldn't have healed that quickly while giving her strength st the same time, Deadpool can barely regenerate an injury like that in the time she did. Oh well, he supposed some mutants and super humans. Tommy still assumed she was a mutant because they were most common. He finally took the time to wonder why he helped her out. He just had a sudden urge to help her, it was something that he wasn't used to. He wondered now if everytrhing he was taught meant nothing.
His thoughts were stopped as the girl showed her appreciation with a 'thanks'. He looked at the girl now, then quickly averted his eyes to the the horizon. This was the kind of situation Tommy couldn't get a handle on. After an incident of severity, Tommy felt awkward, not knowing how to talk to another teenager, much less a mutant. He should start by acknowledging her thank you. "No problem." Tommy pretty much mumbled this, most people wouldn't be able to hear it, and with his attention averted, it was obvious that Tommy was feeling awkward, she would surely know. He soon realized himself how dumb he might look, he didn't want to look too dumb. He was confused on why it even mattered to somebody like him. Either way he had to say something else so he wouldn't look ridiculous. He looked at her and tried his hand at s light joke, "You sure uhh...clean up well." Much to his surprise, Tommy made himself look dumber than before. He looked away again, wallowing in his stupidity.

Olympia stood there looking the boy about her age up and down. She had used her one ace up her sleeve in front of someone else. Her mother had made her promise not to flaunt her abilities in front of others. She knew she could be mistaken for a mutant, and that the world did not see eye to eye on that front. Of course she was not a mutant, and demigods are not that frequent to come across. So she would be happy to be mistaken for a mutant.
”No problem. You sure uhh…clean up well.”
She looked at him and let one corner of her mouth turn up at him. He seemed a bit uncomfortable to be talking to her. She didn’t know if it was due to her being a girl, or if it was because she was about the same age as he was. She hoped that none of the other monster from her father’s world would come to challenge her again. Her eyes laid on her sword that was still laying on the shore among the sand. ”Uhh…thanks.” She responded in her bit odd way of uncomfortably. ”Excuse me.” She said, and disappeared below the surface of the water before slowly making her way back to her sword.

Tommy felt the awkward sting worse by her 'thanks' for some reason. Its quite sad that he couldn't also copy social skills from tapes of Gossip girl or something like that, he wouldn't be having so much trouble. Maybe he can find a way to make this into training. He looked at her as she went to make her way to the shore again.
"Excuse me."
A puzzled look came across his face as she disappeared under the water. She was just in danger of her life and now she was off in a rush to do something. He had to imagine what the hell she was up to. What could put her in such danger as well as have her just jump up and run back to it after barely surviving? He shook his head to focus again, following behind her. Again, usually he'd high tail it and mind his own business, but this girl was peaking his curiosity. What was it that this girl had to deal with exactly? He wanted to know. "Hey!" he called out, wading in the water toward her. "Who are you anyway?" he asked her.

Olympia couldn’t believe she made an ass out of herself by making that statement of gratefulness sound odd and uncomfortable. She wasn’t used to others helping her out like that. The only other person that had done it was her mother, but she was back home safe and sound. Well, she hoped her mother was safe and sound. That could have changed since she had left. She emerged from the water as soon as she ran out of room to swim near the shore, and still had a few meters to go to get to her sword.
”Hey! Who are you anyway?”
She paused as she made her way out of the water and turned around to look at him. The boy was splashing after her toward the shore. This mortal had no idea what he is blundering blindingly into. She sighed, and continued to make her way toward her sword. ”My name is Olympia.” She answered him before she bent down and picked up her sword, which would look like a normal ink pen now that she had put the cap back on it. ”And you might be?” She asked, as she turned to face him ready for any trouble that only she could see.

Olympia, it was such an odd and uncommon, yet beautiful name. But more odd, how would somebody come up with that name for their daughter. Maybe it was a code name, one that related to her water-based abilities. He didn't think that a normal person would lie about their name though to the person who just saved their life, but maybe she wasn't normal. He was over thinking again, even questioning why he's still in this position. What more could there actually be to this girl? She was just some super powered girl with and odd name and an apparent attachment to her pens.
He looked at her as she asked him his name. He just stood there thinking about it. He wouldn't dare express his real name, it could mess him up. People could find him, shut him down potentially. He wanted to lie to her, to say a different name. Pick something, Allen, Bradley, Ryan,...Tony. Anything but his own name. He opened his mouth to speak. "I'm, Tommy." He mentally reprimanded himself as he let his own name slip through. At least it wasn't Thomas or Masters, you can't get all that much from Tommy. He decided to move on from this and turned his focus back to her. "So, what exactly were you doing injured on the beach?" A pretty personal question, but it was a good one.

Olympia didn’t know what has gotten into her. She usually just gets her things and leaves, but yet she hasn’t done that yet. She of course knew it would be better if she put as much distance between herself and this mere mortal. It would be safer for him at least, if not for her. She might have already put him into danger just by allowing him to help her, and witness her power and abilities over water. She was sloppy, she knew but she didn’t know what to do now that he might know who she is.
”I’m Tommy. So, what exactly were you doing injured on the beach?”
She sighed, and cocked her head to think on her answer. She just couldn’t tell him that she had just fought a stymphalian bird, he would think her crazy perhaps. So she decided to go for a more believable route. ”I was mugged, Tommy. Or they tried to mug me, but I fought back. Thanks for helping me out, by the way.” She answered him this a big gigantic lie. She was, however, grateful for his help in taking her into the water.
