As much as she hated it, there were times that Elissa didn't mind being an errand girl. She enjoyed getting away from the chaos that was Frost International. Her time going to the Museum of Modern Art would be like the walks in the garden she used to take as a child, time to herself, to think and to be alone with her thoughts, something that didn't happen very often with the mass of people all around her. Telepathy wasn't something she had a full grip on, her mind would wander and she would hear things she didn't want to hear, thoughts that shouldn't be read or even thought of.
It gave her a headache, she was surprised that she didn't start bleeding from her nose. Mother must have noticed this, as heartless as she seemed, Emma Frost did have good intuition about it. She sent Elissa away to get some new artwork for the business building. She didn't take a car or the subway, instead she walked, which was fine. It gave her time to get some fresh air. She liked walking, and it helped that she wore flat boots.
Getting there was no problem, getting the pieces that her mother wanted was no problem either. Emma had given her no time constraint. In reality, Elissa had the entire afternoon off, a rare thing indeed. So after making sure that the abstract art was wrapped and on their way back to her mother, Elissa took her bluetooth ear piece out of her ear, shut off her blackberry and unbuttoned the very top two buttons of her light blue blouse. No more office for her today. In the bathroom of the museum, she shook her long dark hair out from the tight ponytail and let it lay naturally on her shoulders. Gone was the prim and proper business intern and Elissa turned into someone more relaxed. Heading out of the bathroom, making sure there is no spots on her flawless white pencil skirt, Elissa just wanted to walk slowly through the museum and relax.
