The sun was shining on the New York College campus. Outside Katerina was reading a book for her next class...or at least trying to. Her Dyslexia of course has to make it hard for her to take her college classes and study. Well actually live life in general though Katerina was always trying her hardest and her mother had helped her a lot in school. Though her mother wasn't here now and that meant that Katerina was on her own.
Groaning Katerina closed her book a small pout on her lips a migrane dominating her head. Turning around the college freshman looked around the campus the grass was cut there were people on the lawn, and there were some clouds in the sky but not so many that it would block out the sun's rays. It was a good day today. With that it mind Katerina opened up her book deciding to give it one more try.

Aj was currently sitting on the grass just thinking about things , he was sick of getting recognised for being AJ Storm, not that there was really anything that he could do about that, however at the same time that didn't mean that he had to like it either, simply because of the reason that his father was a hero and that he was secretly a hero himself that didn't mean he wanted people bending over backwards for him and doing things, he was very happy just to be treated like a normal guy.
Looking over he could see a girl with a slight frown on her face, he didn't recognise her which suggested that they where not in the same class but at the same time AJ had been around the campus a lot and knew a lot of the students already. Walking over to the girl he squatted onto his ankles next to her. “Either that book sucks or you just don’t wanna read it,” he joked.

Katerina jumped hearing another person talk to her. She was so lost in trying to read her book that she didn't sense anyone coming by hear. She frowned thinking she should work on that if this happens when she's Martyr.
"N-no It's just har-harder for me t-to read it" Katerina blushed realizing how horrible that sounded. Not only was she stuttering due to dyslexia making it harder to talk it also had a horrible chinese accent to it. Or at least Katerina thought it was horrible it wasn't as think as when she first started taking English in high school but still bad. "S-sorry" Katerina apologized blushing even harder now.

AJ felt like crap when the girl was obviously nervous when she started talking to him, he had only meant to be nice and he had scared the poor girl that was all he needed he was simply wanting to try and talk to someone who was either struggling to keep focus or was looking for someone to talk to and he had pretty much ruined the chance of being able to have that kind of discussion by him scaring her.
“It’s ok,” he said shaking his head and reaching out to touch her hand in a comforting way, “if anyone should be apologising it should be me, after all you where over here on your own in the quiet and I interrupted you, if you want me to go I will do so as it is quite obvious that I have interrupted you, however if you need help I am more than willing to try? I am AJ, AJ Storm”

"T-that would be nice" Katerina said still shy though not stuttering as badly, "I'm K-katerina Cain and you didn't scare me I was just s-surprised is all" Katerina explained showing him her text book. She was hoping to major in Criminal Justice and this text book was all about the law supposably and morals, though Katerina couldn't say that for sure she couldn't read it.
"I-I'm suppose to read these pages" Katerina explained showing him the pages."But it's too hard for me....my english isn't very good" She added to her explanation a little embarressed. She was from Hong Kong that meant that there was little to no english spoken the only language she excelled in was Cantonese and that wasn't something she heard often here.

AJ smiled at her as she shown him her book, he could understand why some of the words confused her, hell it confused him and it was his native tongue, to be fair that wasn’t a book that he would have normally read but he had offered to help her so therefore he would but at the same time that didn't mean that it would be easy for him because of the fact that he didn't know a lot of the words without a dictionary or someone that understood law.
“Ok so what exactly do you need?” he asked her “do you understand the language at all, or is the terminology of the book, is it something that you don’t understand, I would be able to help you better with the words rather than the information but I will try my best either way to help you,”

Katerina laughed a little. She wasn't trying to be mean just glad that someone was helping her.
"It's ok j-just read me the words and i'll...i'll take it from there" Katerina assured AJ. She could decipher words a lot better hearing them than she could looking at them so if she heard AJ read the text to her she could probably figure out what she needed to do for the work. Plus the librarian here was nice enough to help out other students with learning disablities so she would hlep Katerina get her work done.

“Ok,” AJ said he figured another way that he could help her would be the break the words down for her, after all AJ wasn’t the best teacher in the world but at the same time he wanted to be able to help this girl because of the fact that he had somewhat interrupted her and therefore wanted to make up for doing that.
“Ok well what are you actually stuck on?” he said pulling out a piece of paper and a pen “I’ll break the words down for you so that it is easier.”

Katerina nodded and looked back over at the book she was able to decode some of them but not all she pointed to a word on the page. "I'm not sure what this one is" So far the sentence was about a very famous case that had finally put Al Capone in prision but she wasn't entirely sure what. She knew it was a Valentine's Day something the word after it was sketchy to her. She looked up at AJ hoping that maybe he would be able to tell her what it was.

AJ looked at the phrase that she was unsure of, AJ knew that the case she was doing was big, hell Al Capone was one of the most well known villains of the world, the word she wasn’t sure of was massacre, it was one of the events that had made it possible for the law enforcement to nail capone’s ass to the wall. “It’s massacre, the best way might be to break it down into mass and acre,” he said with a kind smile “that help you at all?”
