The redhead emerged out of the shrubbery of the woods that seemed to stop suddenly as she seemed to be out of visual cover. Not that she needed it, as she could have easily stopped anyone who was looking for her. She had her psionic shield up and strong as ever, and knew that no telepath could track her. She paused at the tree line, not sure if she should go on or find another way that she doesn’t have to be out in the open.
She looked up to the night sky, the stars could be seen clearly and are like diamond sparkling in the sky. The moon was only a sliver of it full glory against the back drop of twinkling lights. Of course it was a chilly wintry night, but her telekinetic shield that she had erected around her did the job of keeping herself warm enough so that the air nor wind would bother her much. Since going on the run so many years ago, she had also quickly learned that she had the ability to know if someone else was near her. She uses that ability more often than any of her others, knowing that it would save her life.
The redhead started to make her way across the plains in front of her, knowing that she wasn’t that much further from where ever she was going. She didn’t know where she was going, but something seemed to be pulling her in certain direction. She paused halfway across the field she was trying to transverse, something felt wrong to her. Her eyes scanned the horizon around her, mental detection ability alerted her that she was no longer alone. ”Who’s there?” She called out, ready for a confrontation but hoping there will not be one.
