New York City is one big place but for some reason Nina found herself wondering around the Campus of the University there. It had been a long time since she`d actually taken a step into a school, ever since Xavier’s. She wasn`t exactly pursuing a career in anything, seeing as she would probably be arrested as soon as she registered anywhere. Thank god alias were created. But look at all the pathetic humans absorbed in their own lives. It was so easy just to get rid of them, but a place like this was way too public and there was most defiantly other mutants around, and some good toe shoes heroes too. Nina rolled her grey eyes at that thought and pushed her fake glasses up her nose farther, talking a seat a bench outside of one of the buildings.
History was one of her favourite subjects not to mention English, so she wasn’t exactly a lost cause if she did think about ever heading back to school, but who would want to live in any of these human infested buildings, hiding your powers. It’s ridiculous, mutants should have every right to use their powers, it’s just like people with photographic memories that are called gifted, there using their gifts too. Maybe a new brother hood would rise again to diminish the human infestation, and then the world would truly be a better place.
Nina glanced at the people passing by, no one taking a second glance at the red headed girl with glasses, which wasn`t exactly her normal look. Maybe someday soon she would be free to be a mutant.

New York City, she had lived in it her whole life. And some parts she knew by heart. But at this moment she was at the department for Political Science at Columbia University. Yes she went ivy league, she had the brains for it. Now if she only had the watch for it. Yes Ariadne was running a tad bit late. And it wouldn't be the first time either. But she could still make it and so she hurried up that she'd be on time in her lesson. And thank god, for it was a small miracle, that there wasn't much traffic. And so indeed she was at her lesson in time.
The professor however was not on time. And wouldn't be able to make it on time, as she only got to hear once she already was in the center of Manhattan. She sighed and together with the whole class they all just walked outside again. Many of them, if not all of them, would have other lessons in the afternoon but that was their morning lessons canceled. She was walking down the stairs of the building back into the fresh morning air as she walked away from the building and to some benches.
She sat down and briefly looked at the other person sitting at the other side of the bench. She had never seen the girl around campus, then again she barely knew anyone outside of the people that she followed classes with. So maybe she wasn't studying PS, she didn't know. She didn't particularly care either, she just sat down and began to dig in her bag. And moments later she pulled out her ipod and a book. There wasn't much else that she could do at the moment right?
