Abby smoothed her dress as she stood outside of the building. Her brother had told her that there was party going on, and that she should show up. She didn’t know if she should or not, but she felt like she needed to take a break from her newest project. Her father was of course taking care of something urgent that had come up with the company, and thus he wasn’t at home. Davis had left shortly after their dad, and she was alone in the penthouse with JARVIS and the hired help. She stared at the address that her brother had given her, and looked up to the numbers on the building. She was at the right place, and took a deep breath.
Ever since she was kidnapped and forced to create a weapon of mass destruction, she was shy and withdrawn. She was never far away from her father or brother since her father rescued her. She missed her mother terribly, and she will always feel guilty for her mother’s death. She knew she should have just finished the weapon, and let them kill her. Then perhaps her mother would have still been alive… She approached the door to the building and knocked on it.
The door soon opened to reveal an older boy acting like a bouncer for the impromptu party going on inside. She always suspected that her brother was trying to get her to come out of her shell, since he was always dragging her or informing her about parties. She knew that she didn’t have the personality of a Stark like her father and brother, but there was a good reason for that. She didn’t grow up with her father, and her mother had always protected her. Thus she didn’t get out to parties, and have a Stark type social life. Heck she really didn’t have much of a social life. She would much rather tinker with some invention of hers.
Abby nodded to the older kid and smiled shyly. She watched as he opened the door to let her in, and she stepped inside. The party was of course in full swing, and she just stood off to the side. She wondered if her brother was there as well. She felt totally out of her element, as she stood off to the side of the party and watched the other kids.

Parties, a element that every Stark should get use to seeing as you'll be getting invited to one every other day. You just gotta choose which ones you would privilege yourself to go to. It just so happened to be this one, a party that wasn't to far from the tower, but far enough for a good walk. And since his and Abigail's dad been busy with business it seems like the right thing to do instead of being bored at home. He already knew the material for schooling and high industrial physics there wasn't any need for him to stay in one place. And his father was the same, hence why he liked the party scene. Though his sister was different, couldn't blame her really, she wasn't raised with him. And if she was, Davis would have suspected she would have grown up sort of like himself and dad.
Once there as expected from a Stark he scoped out the party for the hottest date there. It didn't take long to find one, and before anyone knew it Davis was on her. He walked up to her with hands in his pocket and studied what she had on her. Ususally to break the ice you tend to talk about what the girl has one. Well that's what Davis thought anyway and it worked ninety percent of the time. So as Davis approached the girl he smirked at her and without having to say much she kind of grew wide eyed and smiled. He guess she couldn't believe that a Stark would be talking to her, here of all places. Glancing down really quickly he noticed her necklace and decided to complement her on it. "That's a nice necklace you having, complements your beautiful eyes and wonderful face".
As he continued to flirt with the girl he heard that someone else came through the door. Looked a bit young to even be at the party, Davis only took a fraction of a second to gather who it was. So Abby took the invite, he was slightly surprised and impressed at the same time. She wasn't much of a outing person and to get her out was just like trying to pry open a lobsters claw. Though it wasn't impossible, it was extremely difficult to do so. Grabbing the hand of the girl he was talking to he kissed it lightly and told her he would be back. Davis than headed towards Abby who was just standing off to the side of the party sort of alone. As he reached her he opened his mouth to talk, "What are you doing Abby why don't you go dance or something" he told her.

Abby noticed that her brother was already working his charm on one of the pretty girls there. She sighed and wondered how did she end up with her personality and a family like her dad and brother. She may not never know, and she of course wasn’t a typical Stark. She couldn’t help but let her eyes roam over the party, and she suddenly saw something that peaked her interest. She didn’t know if she should approach or what. No one had really told her how to act at a party that her family seems to be famous for hosting. However, before she could make up her mind on whether or not to approach her brother came over to her. She noticed he left the girl he was talking to just to make sure he came over to talk to her.
"What are you doing Abby why don't you go dance or something"
She looked at her brother and swallowed as he trying to get her to do something here. ”Davis, you know I don’t know how to do this… Not like you or Dad… I’m afraid I’m gonna screw it up, and embarrass not only my self, but you and Dad as well…” She told him with pleading in her eyes. She didn’t know if she was asking him to help her without coming right out and saying it or not. She really never needed any help before, and the idea of asking for it seemed foreign to her.

As Davis approached he took noticed of Abby's look on her face and she seemed lost. Well more lost than usual, she still hasn't gotten use to life with him and there dad yet. He guessed she wasn't used to the life style they led and it was to be expected. Especially since she came from a different way of life before she came along. Well it was a better time than any to learn what it meant to be a Stark. And to be a Stark that meant going out there and getting to know people. Either by going out to parties or doing business with someone on something. Davis only been doing one of those things, though his dad wants him to go with him more on business trips and learn. But Davis does know, his father tends to forget that he knows about business and the like.
After a few moments when he let Abby tell him what was on her mind he smirked at her and nodded. She was feeling out of place, this really wasn't her scene to begin with. But he couldn't help but be proud of her, she was at least trying to get out there. "Listen Abby I know your knew to this but it isn't that hard. All you need to do is mingle a bit, talk about anything, business what your up to. All you gotta do is be yourself, your a Stark after all". After he said what he had to he smirked at her a bit. Abby didn't know what it meant to be a Stark yet but Davis was there to teach her.

Another blackout, the longest one she'd ever experienced. Lexi had lost a couple days altogether recently. Unsurprisingly, the doctors were as mystified as they'd been her entire life: idiots, the lot of them. At least her father had assured her that she hadn't left the house, missed any of her activities, or ever gone unaccounted for during the period she couldn't remember. Her tutors and the house staff confirmed this, albeit nervously, but then she couldn't remember a time when her father's employees weren't uneasy when being questioned by her: spineless weaklings, but their kind were necessary to perform the menial tasks that freed minds like hers to move society forward.
Despite all these assurances though, the dreams that followed were disturbing. They were the most intense nightmares ever, following form in paralleling the length of her blackouts. The rage and hatred she felt in them, the feral ferocity... that wasn't her. That was far too much like her father, whose spittle-spewing rants against the Kryptonians frighted her, though she'd obviously never admit such.
A loud, over-crowded, teen party for those from families of status in New York City was just what she needed. In such a setting, Lexi could relax a bit and let herself go. She was brilliant, after all; ground-breaking science might still be an exercise of her considerable intellect, but people... especially hormonal ones... were a matter of consummate ease. A flirtatious smirk and a lingering touch (barely necessary really, given her designer-label outfit that clung to her like a second skin... in the sparse places it actually covered her first skin) to get a boy who'd come with a date to fetch her a drink more swiftly than most of her servants, a scornful scoff and one imperiously-raised brow to remind his girlfriend what it meant to cross a Luthor; sheep were so laughably simple to manipulate.
As she waited for her casually-stolen companion to return with a drink, Lexi took notice of two other party-goers who were not currently in the melee of pseudo-dancing that dominated the floor space. With an assessing gaze, she took a couple steps over to the duo, speaking in as low and silky a tone as was possible to use whilst still making herself heard over the DJ.
"Ah... Starks. Excellent; I can count on the punch being spiked then?" The only halfway joking comment was accompanied by a light and tittering laugh that she assumed in such social circumstances. The Stark family did have such a reputation and, given the sleepless nights she'd suffered recently, the young Luthor really would appreciate something stronger than mere fruit concentrate.

Abby listened to her brother, wondering how she was going to apply his advice to this party. She truly felt like a fish out of the water every time she showed up to a party that her brother had invited her too. She was amazed that she even continued to show up, especially after seeming to meet all the jerks and bullies at these events. She then looked to her brother, worry clearly on her face, and opened her mouth to talk. ”How do you think they would react if I just starting talking about condensed matter physics and how it could be used for nanotechnology? I’m sure I would get labeled as something really not nice, and get banned from attending any more galas…” She told him quietly, not sure how he meant to be herself. She was an awkward thirteen year old girl that is in high level classes at the local university.
However, before anything else could happen, someone entered the party and every red blooded male was looking to the newcomer, and she suddenly got more cautious of her looks. The girl who had entered was of course dressed for something a bit more than parting, and she instinctively knew that her brother would take notice of her. She was nothing like her father and brother when it came to parties and she wondered if she ever will be like them. Their father was always busy with either teaching them how to be heroes or taking care of Stark Industries, and she is lacking severely in the social department. She was not outgoing and spunky. Brilliant and intelligent, yes. Before she knew what had happened, the new girl approached her and her brother as she tried to think on how to mingle and spoke to the two of them.
"Ah... Starks. Excellent; I can count on the punch being spiked then?"
Abby looked at the girl, and it suddenly dawned on her who she was. Lexi Luthor. Lex Luthor’s daughter. Rumors have it that he genetically experimented with her and that she is part monster or something. However, her mother had taught her better manners than say something like that so she kept it to herself. She gave a small shy smile and shrugged her shoulder. ”Not from me. Dad would ground me until I’m thirty for touching his whiskey. Davis, I’m not so sure about…” She finally answered, giving a double meaning to her brother. Not that she was actually accusing him of trying to spike the punch, but actually telling him that she was unsure about being there at the party. Especially with the young Luthor in attendance.

Davis listened to Abby's plea about what would people think about her if she started to talk about her pet projects. How he was supposed to know, it had different effects on different people. He's done it before one girls and they instantly fell in love with him. Who's to say that that wouldn't happen with her? He just knew why she was just coming up with excuses like that, she was just uncomfortable is all. She just needed to get used to scenes like this, that was all. And living with him and his father she would be able to get used to it with in a couple of months. Eventually she's going to learn to be outgoing or so he thinks, it's going to have to stick if she's hanging with him. But the good thing about this was that she was trying to get out there and be social. She was shy, and this was a good starting point to get out of that habit and start talking to people. In there business you had to get used to shaking hands and talking to people, so this would help her in the long run.
But before he could respond to Abby's comment he heard someone come through the door. Every male turned there gaze towards the new girl, though he himself only glanced at her. That was all he needed to do in the first place, he knew who it was already. It was Lexi, Lexi Luthor, one of the most spoiled brats of the rich. He encountered her loads of times when his father had to go on business meetings with her father. Again really spoiled and always seemed to have it out against the Starks. But that didn't bother him what bothered him was that she even bothered to show her self here. He hoped it was only a coincidence that she so happened to appear at the same party that they did. However he thought of it unlikely and hoped that she would at least ignore them. But that seemed like a fatal dream seeing as she seemed to be walking towards them.
From both Lexi's comment along with Abby's he got what both of them meant. He glared a bit at Lexi but than looked down to Abby and gave her a look that said to move away a bit. After that he looked back at Lexi and smirked at her because of her little comments about the Starks. "Well now that the Luthor is here I can expect us all to be turned into slaves and work for a minimal amount of 3 peanuts a day?" he told her. He didn't trust her one bit, and the fact that she choose to actually come towards them meant something. Davis wasn't going to take any chances and made sure that his nano-bots in his body were primed and ready to take offensive and forum the Iron Boy armor within seconds.
